Between Málaga and the Strait of Gibraltar, Marbella lies on the Costa del Sol in Andalusia. Puerto Banús, a short way along the coast to the south-west, was built in the style of an Andalusian village around its marina and is one of the main yacht harbours of southern Spain, while Marbella has smaller harbours of its own.
